SERVICE:
The service was honestly a bit disappointing. I didn't know what to expect when I came here with Kev but I at least thought that we would be happily greeted by the workers. I think the place is owned by Chinese? Maybe? Because all the workers were speaking Chinese and well I guess not too much customer service can be expected from an Asian place if you know what I mean. Kev and I went when it was close to closing time and requested to sit at the big blue couch. We were denied because the worker told us that seat is reserved for bigger parties like 6-8. I was disappointed of course because the couch was so soft and comfy and honestly... who's gonna come at that time (and no one did btw). There was only one other party (a group of 4 girls) that were in the store aside from Kev and I so we were able to take plenty of photos without worrying about bothering anyone (except the workers...). When I wanted to take a photo of Rilakkuma I was polite enough to ask the workers if I could move it to take photos with it. The lady that worked there reluctantly gave the o-kay on that but seemed really uptight about it. The entire time actually I felt like the workers there were being a bit strict on the photo thing but come-on... this is the whole point of the cafe isn't it? Why make it so cute if you don't want photos taken of it!

Oh, and about the food. Well, the service was fine with that but it would have been better if they helped explain the menu more.

MENU / FOOD:
They've got a dessert menu with photos and they've also got a food and drink menu. For the drink menu I wish they had more photos! I got the Alice Malice which was one of the themed drinks. It is a blended mixed berry drink and was refreshing but not as special or cool as I expected. I guess I wanted more pizazz and sparkles. I know they have some drink with freshly made cotton candy on top. I should have gotten that instead but didn't know where the heck it was on the menu.

We came here for dessert too so we got the Kuma Waffles and the Kuma Pudding (Flan). The Kuma Waffles were cute! It came with a scoop of ice cream of your choice, mixed fruit, and maple syrup. The taste was just aiiight. It's really condensed with a lot of the waffle flour in the middle so it didn't taste light and fluffy but more like thick and dry. I probably wouldn't get that again. The Kuma Flan / Pudding was served with Coffee syrup and that was yummy!

ATMOSPHERE:
This place screams kawaii right when you enter their door. If it weren't for the uptight/strict attitude of the ladies working there Kev and I would have felt a bit more relaxed and had more fun with the cute plushies!

This place is also great for girl talk because they have those fancy tea sets served on those... I have no idea what to call it... multi level plate things? Ugh I forgot what it's called but its basically like a tower (?) with like 3 levels of plates. And those things usually come with like fruit and pastries and etc. Kind of like this photo below:

WOULD I COME BACK?
If I lived closer then maybe I would come back. But the price is a bit expensive so I don't think I would come back a lot. I think this place is a must-go at least once for Rilakkuma lovers but for the food and drinks are pretty standard like any other boba/tea place. The unique thing is that they've got Rilakkuma shaped waffles and flan. They sometimes have Hello Kitty shaped waffles too!
