THE FILLING STATION, WHERE YOU CAN FILL UP YOUR BELLIES!!

So Kev and I decided to go on a date day and one of our first stops was THE FILLING STATION! The outdoor seating of this place caught my eye. It seems like basically 3/4 of the restaurant is outdoors! I wonder how people eat when it rains....

Anyways, it was a good day to eat outdoors so we opted for the perfect people-watching view. We sat outside but unfortunately we did not have an umbrella for our table and instead there was a big tree. This concerned me a bit because I didn't want any small branches or leaves to fall into my food... Luckily, some did fall but BEFORE the food came out. None fell on my food thank goodness!

The atmosphere is nice especially in nice weather. This place gets packed! It's a good place to sit and talk over food while sipping on some fancy fine. They have a variety of wines and beers on tap. Every table, I noticed, was unique and totally different. The waiters are very nice and friendly. I bet they have a lot of skill handling the plates because the route they go through is quite narrow!

The food:
  • The Machaca & Eggs (with Jalapeno + Bell Pepper Potatoes as a side)
    • comes with 4 medium sized tortillas which was the perfect amount to basically wrap most of the Machaca and Eggs in!
    • The salsa that it came with was actually spicy! It had a little kick! YUM
  • The Mushroom Swiss Burger (with Salad as a side. You can choose fries instead though)
    •  this was huuuuuuuuge
    • there were plenty of mushrooms
    • one slice of swiss cheese!
    • the meat patty was not greasy and not to dry at all. It was actually juicy and I love it juicy!
    • The addition of lettuce and tomatoes combined with the rest made everything taste really juicy and fresh

Would I come here again? YES. Because the prices are not that bad. It's about $5-$15 depending on what you get. They also have Eggs Benedict here too for around $9.The workers are nice and friendly and the crowd that this place attracts seem nice too! Also, it's just an overall great place to chill while you're exploring Old Towne Orange.
