 BEHOLD THE POKI NACHOS!!
SMALL SIZED POKI BOWL

WHY DID NO ONE OPEN THIS TYPE OF STORE BEFORE?! IT'S BASICALLY AN ASSEMBLY LINE POKE BOWL RESTAURANT. BASICALLY LIKE A SUBWAY OR CHIPOTLE BUT WITH RAW FRESH FISH. YUMMM! MUCH MUCH HEALTHIER DON'T YOU THINK?!

When we went here the first time this place wasn't that packed at all but there were a few customers here and there. The second time we went (like yesterday...) was SOOOOO packed. The line just kept getting longer and longer. But the line goes FAST because of the assembly-line style of food here. You basically get it right away as you create your bowl!

So Poke is a Hawaiian dish that was inspired by other cultures such as Japan. I'm glad someone finally opened a Hawaiian Poke type restaurant near my house! YAY! This place is a must try and I guarantee you won't regret it. It is seriously that good!

How to order:
  1. Choose your type of bowl! Do you want rice? If so, brown or white?! Do you want nachos instead?? Or even salad?!
  2. Choose YOUR FISH! For the rice bowls you can choose 3 types of fish for the medium or 5 for the large. For the others (salad and nachos) you can choose up to 3 types of fish. The fish include:
    • tuna, salmon, yellow tail, albacore, shrimp, octopus, scallop, and mashed tuna
  3. Choose your sauce! Of course there is soy sauce but if you want to get a bit more creative there is DYNAMITE SAUCE! Try it, you'll love it if you love spicyyyyyy! You can even get sauce on the side. Two sauces if you want! One in your bowl and one on the side!
  4. Top it off with toppings! My favorite are the Masago (them orange eggs...the best!) There are also onions and sesame seeds. I recommend getting it allllllllllll. (because you can!)

All the fish taste very fresh and are very delicious smothered in the sauce that they give u. I got the nachos and I was confused when the cashier asked "what size" because there was only one size nacho bowl... But anyways, aside from that confusion it was oh so yummmmmay. And it didn't give me that greasy oily feeling afterwards because the nachos are plain nachos, a little salty though, but nothing too special. The nachos taste like they're from the bulk nachos sold at Costco. The rice bowl was delicious as well.

^__^ This place has got me hooked! This would be the perfect type of restaurant for a college campus!

P.S. THEY HAVE CLASSIC JAPANESE DRINKS AND DESSERTS HERE TOO LIKE THE MOCHI ICE CREAM, RAMUNE, AND ITO EN BRAND TEA!
