THE HEARTS FIT RIGHT IN WITH MY OTHER STUFFED ANIMALS ON MY BED!
ON THE QUEST TO COLLECT ALL THE HEARTS ^__________^
When I first heard about the new McDonald's Valentine's special Happy Meal Toy, I became pretty much obsessed to collect all the ones that I wanted. I just need one more: Dream Big.
The hearts are so cute! They are the size of my hand! And they are soft with cute phrases on each one that is reminiscent of the old-school Sweethearts candies that never tasted that good but was given to practically everyone in elementary school anyways.
I now have 4: XOXO, HUG ME, BE MINE, LOVE.
I gotta tell you though, it was quite difficult to collect these. Some McDonald's locations did not have all of them or the ones that I specifically asked for. For the past week I've probably been to 5 or 6 different McDonald's.
But the satisfaction of completing my hunt is absolutely worth it. I love squeezing these things and taking cute photos and showing them off to Kev. It's great as a stress ball too if you need something to squeeze outta anger because these things are soft!
I'm still on a mission to collect them all but they are selling out fast! If any of y'all are trying to find these cute plushies too then here are some tips below!
TIPS:
- You don't need to buy the happy meal to get the toy
- Buy the toy separately for $1.69
- Yes, you definitely can (and should) ask for which one you want. The workers I've encountered have all been very friendly and nice and really dig through the box to get what you want!
- There are different colors for each phrase
- If you're in OC area
- Garden Grove Blvd / Euclid location only has yellow LOVE and HUG ME hearts left
- Beach / Katella location has no more hearts left. They are starting to give out the My Little Pony toys instead (in addition to the TMNT one)
- Brookhurst / Chapman location still has some hearts left!
- Warner / Bolsa Chica location still has some hearts left too!
