So We Finally Found Canada Dry Sparkling Green Tea Ginger Ale!

OH...MY...GOSH! I HAVE BEEN LOOKING EVERYWHERE FOR YOU - GREEN TEA GINGER ALE!

Kevin and I have traveled across the land (Orange County), searching far and wide (at many many supermarkets) and have FINALLY found Canada Dry Sparkling Green Tea Ginger Ale! YESS!

We were first introduced to it by our friend from Japan named Moto. Moto prepared a home-cooked meal for us, cooking okonomiyaki! Yes! He also knows that Kevin and I love green tea anything and introduced this amazing fizzy Green Tea Ginger Ale!

I've never had ginger ale before, but was always afraid of trying it because I don't like ginger drinks and I also thought ginger ale was beer (somehow...lol). I don't drink beer.

But you know what? We gave it a shot and fell in love with this drink!

Have you ever had GOLD PEAK'S SWEETENED GREEN TEA? That is exactly what this Canada Dry Green Tea Ginger Ale tastes like... but with fizzzzzzzz!

It basically tastes like a sparkling fizzy soda version of gold peak's green tea! It had a light green tea flavor and is not too sweet. And it's bubbly! And it made me bubbly! It seriously helped me burp too (tmi?!).

But after trying it at Moto's house, Kevin and I wanted more.

We asked him where to find it and he simply said anywhere like Vons or Target.

Oh. Okay.

So we go to Vons. No luck.

Then we go to Target.

WHERE IS IT HIDING!?

Then we go to FOOD 4 LESS, STATER BROS, ALBERTSONS, TOKYO CENTRAL...

WHAT THE HECK?!?! Why is it nowhere to be found?!?!

THEN I TOOK TO SOCIAL MEDIA AND ASKED MY TASTE BUDS ON INSTAGRAM FOR HELP!

Many replied that they also found it at supermarkets such as Stater Bros., Target, Vons, etc.

ARE WE BLIND OR SOMETHING?!? Because when Kevin and I went to all these supermarkets (like 9) we couldn't find it at all!

So then, while we were in the Costa Mesa area again, we checked out Tokyo Central (formerly Marukai but bought out by Don Quijote). And to our surprise and relief, we finally found it! やった!!! 嬉しかった!!

It was around $6 ish for a 12 pack case. Kevin and I both used to work at Tokyo Central actually and asked the Drink department how popular these were, especially since we tried to look for it the week before and it wasn't there!

Apparently, it sells very fast at Tokyo Central! The cases do at least. They do sell single cans (if y'all don't wanna commit to an entire 12-pack and just wanna try one) for like less than a dollar ($.80 ish). The case we ended up buying was the 2nd to last case they had! Dang!!

And everytime they re-stock shipment takes 2 weeks! We must have came at a time when they were out of stock then!

Anyway, this thing is gold. Like it tastes so so good! So, I definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys green tea! Try it! Maybe you'll like it as much as Kevin and I do!

Canada Dry Green Tea Ginger Ale was found at Tokyo Central in Costa Mesa.
