THIS IS A VERY OVERDUE POST SO SORRY GUYS! I JUST GET REALLY LAZY TO UPLOAD PHOTOS SOMETIMES! IT'S A REALLY BAD HABIT OF MINE!
So if you guys have not checked out the new Snow Monster location in Huntington Beach, don't worry because you're not really missing out on anything. I expected it to be more spacious and just overall better. However, instead of that, it basically just taught me to not expect too much. This location is almost exactly the same as the original location in Westminster. It is cramped, small, and has even worse parking. In fact, the new location is in the SAME plaza as The Donuttery and that plaza has the smallest parking lot you can imagine. Just entering the plaza and squeezing through to find parking was a massive paaaaaaaaain!
Aside from the horrible parking and basically the same cramped and small claustrophobic feeling the inside of the store gives me, the customer service at this store is DEFINITELY AN A+. The service is soooooooo great, I was even compelled to write a Yelp review and I barely write those! The cashier was soooooo energetic and smiley and welcomed every customer that walked in that door and greeted bye to every customer that walked out. Holy cow, she is definitely a keeper! A very good change compared to the lifeless, somewhat mean and angry faces that are worn on the workers at the original Westminster location. Those workers need a lesson from this cashier girl, definitely.
The options are the same. The menu is the same. (Same as the original location I mean.) If I had to choose, I would probably go to the original location because parking is just so much better there. This location is great for those who live in the Huntington Beach area though!
The ice cream tastes great and the macaron shells are yummy. I just really miss the menus being on the wall like it used to be in the beginning days of Snow Monster.
**Note: You cannot choose two different macaron flavored shells. They have to be the same! However, you CAN choose 2 different cookies!
BY THE WAY, this location opened about... a month or two ago!
