I personally have tried these colorful unicorn melts at Brunch Con LA before and it was okay. I had the same thing from Ice Cream Garden LA and liked their version better because they add cheese on the outside too for flavor. I am gonna assume that Chomp Eatery didn't prepare it the same as usual, at BrunchCon. So, it's probably much tastier and better at their actual restaurant (I hope).
