I MADE 2 OF THESE CUPS!

My cousin loves it when I make smoothies. She says they taste pretty good and I've pretty much influenced her to wanna buy her own blender! I think they taste pretty good too and it  is just so much cheaper to buy the ingredients and make it at home than to buy a smoothie at a store. And you'll know for sure exactly what you're putting into it and that its fresh!

I've got a juicer at home, a blender, a magic bullet, and so many other appliances at home to make smoothies and juices. My momma used to make the best smoothies that I basically took for granted for so many years before this current popular health trend of organic smoothie making and buying. She would make celery, carrot, spinach, watermelon, orange juice, whatever! smoothies and I was always reluctant to try them because I felt like drinking them was a chore. It was just "too healthy" for me. But now I totally appreciate it. Especially since those smoothies sold at Nektar for like almost $10 taste exactly the same as the ones my momma makes. Wow!

Anyways...I digress. The smoothie I made was refreshing and delicious! I wanted to freeze my fruit so that I wouldn't need to add any ice to make it cold. However, I was too lazy for that so I decided to add just a bit of ice.  The acai berry juice that I bought from Costco is a bit...well...sour! So I also added some vanilla soymilk so that it would be sweeter for me. I was able to make 2 cups for my cousin and I. This was perfect on a scorching sunny SoCal day. B)
